Thank You for your wonderful support during 2024 – Exciting Plans for 2025!

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on an enjoyable and perhaps slightly different 2024 for our choral society and thank you for being a vital part of our journey.

This year, we were thrilled to present a diverse and exciting program:

  •  The powerful and moving Requiem by Saint-Saëns.

  • A fresh and heartfelt collection of contemporary folk songs.

  • The timeless magic of Songs from the Silver Screen, which brought cherished moments to life through music.

Your support made these performances possible, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity and encouragement.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are delighted to share our upcoming program, which promises to be equally inspiring:

  •  Vaughan Williams’ majestic A Sea Symphony, a profound celebration of humanity’s relationship with the sea.

  •  Mozart’s sublime and transcendent Requiem.

  •  Brahms’ deeply moving Requiem, a masterpiece of comfort and hope.

We are incredibly excited to bring these monumental works to life, but we cannot do this without your continued support. Whether through attendance, donations, or simply spreading the word about our performances, your involvement ensures that we can keep sharing the beauty of choral music with our community.

Thank you for being part of our choral society family. Together, let’s make 2025 another extraordinary year of music, connection, and joy.

Finally, you may have seen us about the town this December singing carols and raising money for St Michael's Hospice, and it was great that Basingstoke Silver Band joined us in the Malls, Basingstoke. Here are a few photos of what we got up to, and we are proud to say we raised over £830 this year for the hospice.
